UTC Has Strong Presence at 2025 SRI Conference
Delivered Papers and Moderated Sessions During June Event Focused on Sustainability
Last month, Chicago was the location for the 2025 Sustainability Research + Innovation Conference, a three-day event "focused on action-forward, knowledge-based and inclusive approaches to sustainability." This year marked the first time the international event was held in Chicago; it was hosted by the the University of Illinois Systems.
The Urban Transportation Center was an active participant in the event, which focused on these two objectives: 1) Sharing implementation strategies and legacies of successful approaches to critical sustainability concerns. 2) Showcasing opportunities to overcome engagement, policy, resourcing, and other hurdles.
