Dr. Fazio earned his Ph.D. in 1990 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served as a faculty member at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois at Chicago, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. As a consultant, Dr. Fazio has participated and continues to participate on many international and domestic projects. Dr. Fazio has published in many international, peer-reviewed journals and presented at many international conferences and symposia. Dr. Fazio is a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. The State of Illinois licenses him as a Professional Engineer. Dr. Fazio is an honorable discharged U.S. Air Force veteran.
