More than 60 transportation researchers, public and private professionals and graduate students attended the reception. UTC Interim Executive Director Dr. P.S. Sriraj welcomed sponsors and guests, which included around 20 alumni from the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) and other academic departments at UIC. And, the UTC recognized winners of the 2015 George Krambles Transportation Scholarship Awards competition.

UTC researchers also contributed to the dialogue at the 2016 TRB Annual Meeting by sharing transportation research results.  Please click on this link to download the presentation, “Gendered Mobility: Reshaping Geography Between Work and Non-Work Days,” from research completed by Nebiyou Tilahun, Ph.D and Yaye Mallon Keita.
