The UTC is housed in a vintage former manufacturing building on the East Campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Offices are accessible by public transportation and auto. There is a Divvy bicycle sharing station at Peoria and Harrison Streets, and another at Peoria Street and Jackson Boulevard.

By CTA Bus
These four bus lines puts visitors within walking distance of the UTC:
- Number 60 Blue Island/26th Street
- Number 8 Halsted Street
- Number 7 Harrison Street
- Number 126 Jackson Boulevard.
By CTA Train
The campus is served by the UIC-Halsted stop on the CTA Blue Line. The Peoria Street Blue Line exit is literally steps from CUPPA Hall and the UTC.
By Car
From the north, take the Kennedy Expressway to the Eisenhower Expressway west bound and keep to the right. Exit from the Eisenhower Expressway at Racine Avenue. Drive south on Racine to Harrison Street, then east to enter the visitor’s parking lot #9.
From the south, take the Dan Ryan Expressway to the Eisenhower Expressway ramp west bound and keep to the right. Exit from the Eisenhower Expressway at Racine Avenue. Drive south on Racine to Harrison Street, then east to enter the visitor’s parking lot #9.
From the west, take the Eisenhower Expressway to the Racine Avenue exit. Drive south on Racine to Harrison Street, then east to enter the visitor’s parking lot #9.
From the east drive west on Harrison Street to enter the visitor’s parking lot #9.
