Transport Chicago is an annual conference dedicated to the mission of improving transportation in the Chicago region and beyond. Originally conceived as a student-led forum, today Transport Chicago brings together seasoned experts and professionals of all ages for a one-day fun, engaging, and semi-formal conference setting.
Every year, the goal is to ignite the conversation. Transport Chicago provides a platform to exchange ideas and knowledge and to build the relationships that are necessary to solve the complex transportation problems of today and tomorrow.
Transportation scholars and professionals are invited to submit proposals for the special 40th Annual Conference on Friday, June 13, 2025, at voco Chicago Downtown. The one-day conference will feature presentations, sessions, and posters on a wide range of transportation topics.
Some general topics include:
- Transit expansions or maximizing the efficiency of freight movement
- Transit-oriented development or complete streets and micromobility
- Equity, data, design, or community engagement
