The reconstruction of the Jane Byrne Interchange project is scheduled for completion in late 2022.
In the February issue of the Gazette Chicago community newspaper, Dr. P.S. Sriraj, director of the Urban Transportation Center, noted that capacity constraints have continued at the Interchange, which has remained open since the start of construction in 2013.
