RTA and CMAP discuss future of paratransit at Urban Transportation Center seminar
CMAP providing technical assistance to improve transit for people with disabilities. But looming budget gap threatens service systemwide

The report from Cameron Bolton chronicled the February 22 Seminar Series presentation, "The Outlook for Paratransit Across Metropolitan Chicago in 2024," the debut Seminar Series event hosted by the Urban Transportation Center.
During the zoom presentation, speakers from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) shared insight into paratransit options, mobility challenges, funding issues, and reduced fare programs for people with disabilities.
