Nearly 200 registered for the Transport Chicago's 2021 virtual conference held June 18. The concurrent Red Line and Blue Line sessions featured a wide variety of speakers sharing knowledge and innovative ideas from across the region and globe.

Transportation professionals can help plan and run next year's conference by joining the all-volunteer Steering Committee! Starting in late September/early October, the Committee will meet virtually once a month to work out the details for the 2021 conference. With a mix of private and public agencies represented, the Steering Committee works to keep people updated, coordinates media attention, manages the conference's website, handles pre- and day-of registration, works with sponsors and chooses the conference sessions from all the submitted abstracts. In addition to the Steering Committee, Transport Chicago is also looking for volunteers to serve on our Executive Board.
