About
Cemal (Djemal) Ayvalik joins UTC as Senior Research Engineer. Previously, as a Principal Analyst at the Strategic Planning Division of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) he has led division’s efforts in transit asset management, transit market research and analysis, and transit ridership forecasting. He also brings extensive private sector experience in transit market research and travel demand forecasting nationwide. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Turkey, and a doctoral degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
